Attorney Steven M. LaFortune, Partner
Steven M. LaFortune has demonstrated an outstanding record of personal and professional achievement. An accomplished athlete, he was twice an all-American football player and awarded achievements for academic excellence. After completing law school he worked as a litigator at Gaston & Snow and Peabody and Arnold forming his own law firm in the 1980's. Some of his accomplishments include:
- Pursuing multi-million dollar litigation cases against major Boston Banks.
- Defending clients successfully in numerous jury cases involving charges of assault, driving to endanger, DWI and other matters.
- Achieving positive outcomes in representing clients in litigation involving sophisticated construction disputes with projects worth millions of dollars.

Georgiana Betses Lafortune has almost 20 years experience as a practicing attorney, establishing herself as a leading attorney in general practice with focus on divorce and family law, mediation, banking and real estate. Her accomplishments include but are not restricted to:
- Performing in excess of 2000 real estate closings for commercial and residential real estate representing both lenders and individuals.
- Representing banking clients, developers, corporations and individuals, the FDIC, the RTC and BONHAM (agent for FDIC in New Hampshire) in complex real estate, corporate, lender liability, construction and environmental issues.
